With the app you can:
Yes, there are a few different ways you can go about managing your plan. Here’s what you should know about each option:
Plan management (that’s what we do).
You’ll receive funding in your plan to pay for a Plan Manager.
We pay your providers for you, help you keep track of funds, and take care of financial reporting. You always have choice and flexibility of the providers you use, and plan management fees do not come out of your support budget. They’re calculated in addition to your care needs and paid for separately by the NDIS, so there’s no extra cost for you.
Plan managers can also bill the NDIS directly for your support services.
Manage it yourself
If you choose to use a self-managed plan, the NDIS will refund you for any support you claim. You’ll also have choice and flexibility of providers.
Agency managed plan
When the NDIS manages your plan, you have to choose registered NDIS providers, so your choices are more limited. But the NDIS will pay your providers on your behalf.
You can also decide to use a combination of all three plan management styles.
If you’re currently with another management option and want to switch to Plan Management, you can do this during your annual plan review or by requesting an unscheduled review.
You can find out more about switching to Plan Management here.
Of course! One of the main benefits of Plan Management is the flexibility it offers. You can choose any service provider, whether they’re NDIS-registered or not. We’ll handle the financial aspects, ensuring your providers are paid on time from your NDIS funds.
Once you’ve received a service, your provider will send the invoice either to you or directly to us, based on your preference. If it’s sent to you, just forward it to us. We’ll then verify the details, ensure it aligns with your NDIS plan, and process the payment on your behalf. We process all invoices within 48 hours to ensure your service providers are paid in a timely manner.
You’ll also receive monthly reports from us detailing what you’ve used, how much funding you have left, and warnings if your forecast looks like you might overspend.
If you have questions about your NDIS budget, how your funds are allocated, or any other financial queries, all you have to do is ask. Our team is here to support you every step of the way.
With decades of experience working with participants like you, we can offer detailed explanations, ensuring you always have a clear understanding of your funding.
